He is the Managing Director/Executive Chairman. Alhaji Abuba Shaibu has over 25 years successful business experience in the areas of petroleum, haulage and construction. He has been a retailer of petroleum products with GOIL, TOTAL, SHELL, PETRO AFRIQUE as well as TROPIC OIL. During the time he was working with these companies, he distinguished himself as one of the major dealers with an enviable record.
Alhaji Abuba Shaibu has been given numerous awards for his work in the petroleum downstream industry and continues to work harder to ensure Nasona Oil achieves its vision.

He has been the General Manager of Nasona Oil since July 2012.
He has shown competence and commitment since he joined the company. His dedication to the company has impacted positively in all areas of our entire operations such as retail outlet expansion, improvement of the quality of existing outlets, adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and Nasona Oil’s commitment to constantly improve our products and services to our customers.
Mr. Abuba holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in General Management from the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater (USA). He also holds an MBA in Business Administration from the Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida (USA). He has also attended several courses and seminars relating to the operations and management in the petroleum downstream industry.

He is the Head of Accounts & Finance, a position he has been holding for the past seven (10) years. After his HND at the Accra Polytechnic, Mr. Martey went further to do the ACCA program which he has successfully completed.
Mr. Jonathan Martey also has over 10 year’s petroleum downstream industry working experience in accounting. Until joining NASONA, he worked with Tropic Oil Ghana Ltd where he began as an Accounts Officer and by dint of hard work and honesty, rose to the position of Ag. Finance Manager before joining NASONA.
